Nationals!!

The girls competed in The American Nation nationals competition in Salt Lake last weekend. Both teams did really well. The juniors competed a great routine (in spite of being a little scared with all the lights and the super loud music). They ended up placing 3rd (out of 5 teams).

The seniors had a little bit of music trouble, but still did great. Their music turned off after only 2 8-counts of music, but they kept going just like we told them to. The announcer ended up telling them to start over again about halfway through the routine. Even though they were tired by that point they still did a great routine. They placed 3rd (out of 5) as well. A definite positive though: they were only about 3 points behind the leader and received the high score (out of all level 3 junior teams) on their jumps!

We are super proud of both our teams. For being a first year cheer program we think taking 3rd is definitely great. Congratulations to both teams!

All Star Cheer Try-outs

Try-outs are coming up!! Clinics will be held on Thursday April 15th from 6:15 p.m. to 7:45 and Friday April 16th from 3:45 to 5:15. We will be learning a short dance, jumps, and tumbling!

Try-outs will be Saturday April 17th at 9:00 a.m. The girls will try-out and the results will be posted at AirTime training center at 6:00 p.m. The girls are required to wear black shorts and a plain white t-shirt for try-outs. It is free to try-out so come and join the fun! There will be a parents meeting shortly after try-outs where we will go over everything for the coming season. Remember NO prior experience is necessary so if you feel like you don't know anything about cheer come and learn! Flash Halftime

The girls performed at a Utah Flash half-time last weekend and did great!! They made up the dance all by themselves and it was incredible! We were so proud of them! I can't even count the number of compliments they received after the show. It was a blast.
